This related to a contract courier driver who came to us with a massive tax debt and massive filing arrears. It took some time to sort this out, and involved formal submissions and a meeting with the top brass @ IRD Manukau. They agreed that this debt had increased massively over time without IR being overly proactive in its administration and agreed that IR had added to the issues. A framework was put in place, assurances were made and we took over and micro managed the clients contracts and finances, repaid the debt, and maintained regular filing.
